About Helm
Built on what it actually takes to run the back bench properly.
Helm exists because most operating problems are not solved by one more hire or one more tool. They are solved by a complete operating layer that runs with context, continuity, and the right people in the right roles. That is what Helm builds.
The founder
April Klazema
April Klazema has spent sixteen years building operating infrastructure for founders, agencies, and service businesses. She founded Klazema Communications in 2008, growing it into a content marketing agency that now runs independently on the systems and team she built. In 2024 she launched Content Value Chain, an AI-first content strategy practice. Helm, founded in 2026, is the culmination of everything she has learned about what it actually takes to run the layer behind a leader who needs to stay at the front.
Her operational background spans agency operations, service delivery, systems architecture, and tooling across ClickUp, Microsoft 365, Zapier, n8n, Make, GoHighLevel, Airtable, Notion, and AI tools. She has built and rebuilt operational infrastructure across agencies and service businesses at every stage of growth, and brings that same depth to every Helm engagement.
Based in Nunspeet, Netherlands. Working with clients globally.

The model
One trusted lead. The right bench behind them.
One trusted human lead
Clients want a trusted human front door, not a pile of disconnected help. The lead operator reduces coordination burden — not just task burden. Trust and continuity improve when one person owns cross-workstream context.
Bench, not role
A single role rarely solves a multi-area operating problem. Clients outgrow one-function support before they realise it. The bench can expand without the client managing multiple relationships.
Operating intelligence underneath the work
AI is useful when grounded in context, workflows, and live operating logic. Continuity matters when roles evolve or the bench expands. The operating layer is built to hold knowledge, not just complete tasks.
The network
Every operator is known, not found.
Helm does not pull from a marketplace or maintain a standing team. The operator network is a professional network built over twenty years — people whose work April has seen directly, or who come with a direct recommendation from someone whose judgement she trusts. Vetting is not a process. It is a standard that exists before the engagement starts.
